Amazingly candid and fast-paced conference. Absolutely love the no-BS, quick hitting nature of all the content. Very high quality people there as well.
very well organized. maybe more conference-led reminders to adhere to speaker start times for attendees (ie go be there on time, guys!) and larger after parties / dinners would be nice. well done overall.
Great with tight schedule and different topics running side by side.
The sponsor booths were a little tight squeezed in. You were standing in the way when talking with them.
I found a lot of value in attending SaaSOpen, particularly in the Brain Dates and have already started implementing some of the recommendations suggested. In addition, the Founders Stage sessions and Sales/Marketing sessions on Day 1 were very beneficial to learn from.
SaaSOpen was a great opportunity to connect with other SaaS companies. The Mozart team valued the chance to take the pulse of the startup and SaaS world.
The conference was also well-organized and easy work from. Good food, wifi, coffee, etc.
I need more SaaS in my life and I've found the best way to get it. SaaSOpen did an incredible job putting the right people in the room and giving us the opportunity to share how we're growing and learning from each other.
- Physical space: felt open and inclusive. Lots of great snacks. Overall great space and very well done. Dope green room. 9/10
- Event set up: super professional; great AV teams. 9/10
- other stuff: networking is expected but speakers don’t want to get pitched in the green room. Also need to work harder to get a more diverse crowd. Why not partner/contact Black Venture Consortium or similar groups? 3/10
Overall 7/10
Lots of great talks, really like the 20 minute format, keeps it moving fast. Some talks are not that great, but 20 mins is fine, then the next one. Definitely a benefit over the 45+ min talks you see elsewhere.
Good venue. Not too large, easy to jump from room to room. Good location in NY. Good quality wifi (this is a major plus actually, often it's terrible at events). Good food.
Really liked the Nathan interviews - probably the best of the talks. Would ramp this up, do more interviews!
