I met some fantastic founders and leaders, and everyone was focused on helping each other which was amazing. I've already made several connections and had conversations, and even have a few coming on my podcast. A great group of people.
Top notch and surprisingly international for being in Texas. Everyone was so passionate about SaaS either operating within a company or supporting them. I learned so much and have many takeaways. Thanks for all the books!
Very good mix of bootstrapped leaders, venture-backed CEOs and public company execs. At first, it did seem that there were too many of the same speakers from prior events (eg, Chili Piper, PandaDoc, PARTech, Cognism, TimeDoctor, Cledara, etc.), but they were still good sessions. The new folks were all great additions.
This was the best conference I’ve ever been to for early and high growth SaaS and tech startups. The quality of people was the best I’ve ever seen. Highly recommended!
There's no other place I've been where you get the caliber of speakers that you get at SaaS Open. I learned in 2 days what would've taken 5 years or more of hands on experience to learn.
The content was non stop. I took away over 50 action items that I need to apply in my business. It was great having the venue at the Line as it really made the experience turn key. And everyone was pumped to be there and ready to share. You could tell everyone there is moving in the direction of success. 100% recommend.
Venue was great, food was delicious, contacts made were incredible. All in all such a fantastic networking event.
There were too many concurrent evtns happening. And with no transition time difficult to absorb it.
Also none of the table numbers lined up with the calendar events I was sent. So I didn't get to attend any of them... Met lots of cool people and had other conversations, but not the ones I was interested in.
I think this is a really successful show. A lot to be proud of in what was put together. From the booth builds to the content, and especially the content, I truly think you all crushed it. Looking forward to being engaged more!
As a founder, I’m a big fan of SaaSOpen - you learn so much from the amazing presentations, networking with the other attendees, and the coffee talks and braindates. The venue this year is great - LOVE Austin!
Great conference full of founders + CEOS. All of the talks are inspirational or have great tactical tips. This conference has such a unique blend of bootstrapped founders and venture backed founders that really makes it stand out. These are real entrepreneurs building multi million dollar businesses and aiming big.
Nathan Latka has done an excellent job of curating a tightly-knit conference. This was not the usual bla-bla about unicorns as the only existing norm in the SaaS industry, but how paths less trodden bring out outliers, and when they succeed, it inspires other founders to follow their path. No Boring Keynotes
Only founders share real stories from the trenches.
Loved the well-curated and co-ordinated founder dinners, it feels like a real community and much needed after just coming back to the states. Conference was thoughtfully organized and look forward to the next one.
Good venue, but too many stages for the number of attendees -- individual sessions felt pretty thin. Vendors crammed into the hallway made it tough to get through or have a real conversation. As a speaker, last-minute changes in expectations made it a bad experience for me.
SaaSOpen exceeded expectations with relevant and interesting content. Most importantly, Braindates continue to be invaluable. Already looking forward to next year's event.
I liked the overall flow of the conference, which allowed for easy networking and learning opportunities. The short sessions were perfect for maintaining focus and engagement, while the startup-focused content provided valuable insights around SaaS business. SaaSOpen definitely exceeded my expectations, and I will highly recommend it to anyone interested in the SaaS industry.
Great event. Particularly appreciated excellent speaker prep and support and the speaker dinner. Met some great people and enjoyed the conversations immensely.
Fantastic event. I had many inspiring conversations and was able to brainstorm business ideas with many other founders. I landed a new client, met a new partner, and learned about a new product that I'll probably use in my next startup. Can't wait till next year!
Amazing event! Really a very different vibe then other events I attend. The speakers were on another level, its great to hear from people that have knowledge and experience and then to take that info and apply it to the day to day. We will be back forsure!
Amazingly candid and fast-paced conference. Absolutely love the no-BS, quick hitting nature of all the content. Very high quality people there as well.
very well organized. maybe more conference-led reminders to adhere to speaker start times for attendees (ie go be there on time, guys!) and larger after parties / dinners would be nice. well done overall.
Great with tight schedule and different topics running side by side.
The sponsor booths were a little tight squeezed in. You were standing in the way when talking with them.
I found a lot of value in attending SaaSOpen, particularly in the Brain Dates and have already started implementing some of the recommendations suggested. In addition, the Founders Stage sessions and Sales/Marketing sessions on Day 1 were very beneficial to learn from.
SaaSOpen was a great opportunity to connect with other SaaS companies. The Mozart team valued the chance to take the pulse of the startup and SaaS world.
The conference was also well-organized and easy work from. Good food, wifi, coffee, etc.
I need more SaaS in my life and I've found the best way to get it. SaaSOpen did an incredible job putting the right people in the room and giving us the opportunity to share how we're growing and learning from each other.
- Physical space: felt open and inclusive. Lots of great snacks. Overall great space and very well done. Dope green room. 9/10
- Event set up: super professional; great AV teams. 9/10
- other stuff: networking is expected but speakers don’t want to get pitched in the green room. Also need to work harder to get a more diverse crowd. Why not partner/contact Black Venture Consortium or similar groups? 3/10
Overall 7/10
Lots of great talks, really like the 20 minute format, keeps it moving fast. Some talks are not that great, but 20 mins is fine, then the next one. Definitely a benefit over the 45+ min talks you see elsewhere.
Good venue. Not too large, easy to jump from room to room. Good location in NY. Good quality wifi (this is a major plus actually, often it's terrible at events). Good food.
Really liked the Nathan interviews - probably the best of the talks. Would ramp this up, do more interviews!
Great collaborative spirit at the event. Some valuable learnings taken on board. Interesting and eclectic group of attendees ...and some moments of absolute revelation from the younger ( than me) presenters.
I thought it was a great event overall. I enjoyed the speakers. But I think it would have been good to get a little more time for some of the bigger names. I also think it would be good to open up another ticket-type for less money. It seemed that the venue was a little too large for the quantity of people. Would be nice to have more people there. Food and company were great.
The SaaSOpen was a wonderful event. The key was with the number of founders at various stages, the conversation and transparent nature led to good insights. The arrangements for one on one meetings and group meetings on the side were well-managed and easy to book and execute. The value I got from the sessions in addition to all the people I met was well worth my time and I gained a lot.
SaaSopen is on point with like-minded founders who are willing to share their stories! The event is always promising and allows you to learn from others who have been there. This year was even better with more speakers focusing on c-level positions. Highly recommended.
I can't think of a better conference for a SaaS founder. The content and speakers are top notch, feels like each and every presentation was carefully curated. 10/10 will definitely attend again.
