Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about this event edition.

PROMPT: New York is the November 2026 edition of Prompt Sessions, an online matchmaking event where pre-seed and seed AI founders hold private 10-minute 1-on-1 video meetings with early-stage VCs, angels, and scouts. There are no panels or keynotes. The organizers list investors including 212, Plug and Play, Paladin Capital Group, and Mastercard, and say the lineup is still being finalised.
PROMPT: New York runs on Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 November 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time on both days. It is fully online, so founders join from their own desk anywhere in the world. Applications close on 8 November.
It is free for founders and investors, but you must apply to be matched. Registering on the Luma page is only an RSVP, so apply on the Prompt Sessions New York page by 8 November. Founders must be pre-seed or seed AI startups, applications are screened, and seats are limited. You do not need to be based in New York, and no pitch deck is required at the application stage. The organizers say founders who bring other AI founders get priority in matching.
New York keeps the format of the earlier 2026 editions in Amsterdam, Istanbul, Berlin, and London: 10-minute matched meetings, online, over one or two afternoons. The difference is the focus. Berlin was themed AI and SaaS and London AI and fintech, while New York is a general AI edition. London, the most recent, had 18 founders and 21 investors. Visit the PROMPT conference page for comparisons across editions.
