Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about this event edition.
The AI Conference 2026 San Francisco is the next annual edition of the independent, vendor-neutral AI conference, returning to Pier 48 in the city’s Mission Rock neighborhood from September 29 to October 1, 2026. The multi-track program spans the AI stack — AGI, large language models, AI infrastructure, alignment, AI startups, and applied use cases across industries — and draws 5,500+ builders, researchers, and technical leaders rather than a single-vendor audience. The three days open with Day ZERØ, an intimate, capped kickoff of hands-on workshops and a live Hack Day, before the main conference begins. As with prior editions, the focus is on how AI systems are actually built and shipped, making it a working conference for ML engineers, AI founders, and data scientists. Check the upcoming events section above for confirmed details.
The AI Conference 2026 is held at Pier 48 in San Francisco — a waterfront venue in the Mission Rock district next to Oracle Park — from September 29 to October 1, 2026, with easy access from downtown, Caltrain, and the freeways. The location keeps attendees close to the Bay Area’s foundation-model labs, AI startups, and investors. Reserved-rate hotel blocks near the venue, including options on the Embarcadero and in Mission Bay, are typically arranged for attendees each year. Check the upcoming events section above for the confirmed venue logistics and registration details.
The AI Conference 2026 San Francisco sells tiered tickets, so booking during the early pricing window is the cheapest route in, with prices stepping up as the September 29–October 1 dates approach. Team tickets are available for groups of two or more, and a separate Day ZERØ workshop experience is bundled into the full multi-day pass. Tickets are typically refundable up to 30 days out (minus a small processing fee), and because the 2026 tiers sell in waves, places at the lower price points can close ahead of the event. Check the upcoming events section above for current 2026 ticket tiers and the live early pricing deadline.
The AI Conference 2026 San Francisco keeps the vendor-neutral, multi-track format of earlier editions but reflects how fast the field has moved, with autonomous agents and production-scale AI infrastructure featuring more prominently than in the conference’s first years. The venue and city stay consistent — Pier 48 in San Francisco — while the speaker lineup (120+ speakers in recent editions) and program depth grow with each year. For returning attendees, the 2026 agenda leans further into agents and production systems; for first-timers, it remains a broad, practitioner-focused survey of the AI stack across technical, strategy, and vertical-industry tracks.
