Business of Software (BoS) 2023 Raleigh brought its signature blend of strategic depth and practical wisdom to North Carolina's Research Triangle. The US edition of BoS has long been a gathering place for software company leaders who prioritize building lasting businesses over chasing hype cycles. The 2023 Raleigh event continued this tradition with thought-provoking talks on product strategy, customer development, and sustainable growth.
The Raleigh 2023 program emphasized durability over speed. Sessions explored how to build products that customers depend on for decades, why sustainable growth outperforms venture-fueled sprints, and how to create company cultures that retain talent through market cycles. Speakers included founders who bootstrapped to eight-figure revenues and leaders who scaled enterprise software companies without sacrificing their values.
Raleigh's Research Triangle — home to Duke, UNC, and NC State — provided a fitting backdrop for BoS 2023. The region's growing software industry and deep engineering talent pool attracted local founders and operators alongside BoS's loyal international community. Evening events and workshops gave attendees the chance to explore Raleigh's tech scene firsthand.
